Past Experiences

Around 5 months after the start of the team, we participated in our first competition, the 2019 Melbourne Regional Robocup Junior competition in the Secondary Rescue Line category.

To our surprise as, we managed to get 2nd place in the category and decided to enter the Victorian Robocup Junior competition in the same category. After making a brand new robot and coding it from scratch in one month, we entered the competition, once again in the same category, and after many difficulties and last minute changes, we got first place in Victorian devision.

Our last challenge for 2019 was the Australian Open Robocup Junior competition. It was a lot harder than the previous times and we worked a lot more but in the end we were very excited and happy to get first place once again.

Sadly, in 2020 there were no events due to the lockdowns, but in 2021 we were invited to join the virtual International Robocup Junior competition in the Rescue Line category. Our last competition was later that year when we participated in the virtual Australian Open Robocup Junior competition in the Open Rescue category which had it’s own challenges as we had to work from home yet we managed to be in the top ten.
